Julian (he/they) is an inventor, facilitator, and maker with a deep love for community, fire, and structural beauty. He builds things that bring people together — tools for connection, structures for gathering, and spaces that feel alive.
AGNIS grew out of years of collecting materials, attending burns, and holding a vision — then letting creativity find the way to make it real. A core value running through the whole project is reclaiming — giving discarded things a second life. The struts, the steel pentagon, the sheet covering, the floating trampoline, and the foam pads are all reclaimed materials that found their way into something new.
He continues to iterate on the structure, adding systems that let it float, covers that make it all-season, and new ideas that keep AGNIS evolving.

There's No Place Like Dome — weatherproofing AGNIS for rain, bugs, and everything in between
Right now, a hard rain or a bad mosquito night can shut AGNIS down mid-gathering. I'm raising funds for a Dyneema composite roof, a fire-resistant vented chimney cap, bug netting, and a proper acroyoga-friendly floor — built to work whether she's on land or floating on the water. Festivals and other gatherings cover some costs, but not close to supporting the countless hours that go into building and maintaining her, so donations directly help keep this container out in the world for people to experience.
